Appleton Reaches Management Agreement with Paper Valley Hotel
APPLETON, WI (WFRV-TV) --- The City of Appleton has reached a management agreement with the Radisson Paper Valley, according to Mayor Tim Hanna.
The agreement allows the city to move forward with a proposed exhibition center, if neighboring municipalities agree to a hotel room tax.
Thursday night, Grand Chute and Appleton hosted a special meeting at Grand Chute's Town Hall, answering questions from hotel owners and municipal leaders.
Appleton is proposing a 3.5% hotel room tax, which would fund portions of the development.
All 10 municipalities must agree to that proposal.
