Breezy Point resort on Lake Superior gets new owner

Caribou Highlands Lodge
Odyssey Resorts on Friday said it purchased Breezy Point Resort, a 12-cabin operation just south of Two Harbors on the north shore of Lake Superior.

The deal's terms weren't disclosed. The resort's cabins are available for rent or fractional ownership starting at $69,000.

"Our vision for Breezy Point is to retain all of the simple charm enjoyed by generations of renters, while offering an affordable price of entry for ownership,” Odyssey Resorts CEO Bob Ryan said in a news release. “We couldn’t be more pleased to add the gem that is Breezy Point Resort on Lake Superior to our collection.”

The deal gives Odyssey its seventh resort in Minnesota. It also owns Caribou Highlands in Lutsen and Trapper's Landing on Leech Lake.
