Casino hotel groundbreaking is Thursday; opens in summer 2014

Potawatomi Bingo Casino will break ground Thursday on its 20-story hotel that will be built in Milwaukee's Menomonee Valley.

The Forest County Potawatomi Community will develop the hotel, with around 380 rooms and a four-story parking structure, in front of its casino at 1721 W. Canal St.

The tribe plans to open the hotel in the summer of 2014. It will include a 180-seat casual dining restaurant, and a spa.
