Fox Cities CVB Executive Director Resigns

GRAND CHUTE — Randy Prasse, executive director of the Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau, has resigned after less than six months on the job.

In late April, Prasse was named successor to outgoing executive director Lynn Peters.
Board chairman Jeff Nooyen cited “philosophical and managerial differences,” for Prasse’s departure. “Both (Prasse and the board) agreed to move in a different direction.” He said the board will begin a search immediately to find a new executive director. Cheryl Zaug Casey, past CVB board chair and current board member, will serve as interim executive director.

Prior to the CVB post, Prasse was president of International Festivals & Events Association-Wisconsin and director of destination marketing and branding for Discover Mediaworks, parent company of the “Discover Wisconsin” television program. GuideStar.org showed the CVB executive director’s position paid about $85,000, according to the 2010 IRS filing, the most recent year available.
