ILEA Unveils 2016 Esprit Award Winners

The International Live Events Association (ILEA) recently announced its 2016 ILEA Esprit Award recipients. The ILEA Esprit Awards program is an awards competition that recognizes the exceptional professional achievements of individuals and organizations from across the ILEA membership base.

The award recipients were announced and recognized by their peers at the annual ILEA Esprit Awards Ceremony on Sat., August 13, during ILEA Live 2016 at JW Marriott Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas.

A sample of award categories and winners are listed below:

    Best Catered Event – TED2015 Welcome Reception

    Best Culinary Innovation – Bruschetta Tomato Tuile
    Vince Early, CSEP, Thomas Caterers of Distinction.

    Best Event for a Non-profit Organization – MPI WEC Opening Night
    Sara Hunt, CSEP, Giants Enterprises.

    Best Event Photography – Swing from the Chandelier
    Stephanie Leblond, Leblond Studio Inc.

    Best Event with a Legacy – FABBAs 2015
    Robert Rogers, CSEP, Events Man.

    Best Public Event – Ontario’s Celebration Zone
    Sarah Tammemagi, Parleview.

    Best Social Event Over $75,000 – Lemon, Lime Party Time
    Josie Little Page, CSEP, Cosmopolitan Events.

    Best Technical Production – Phish New Year’s Eve
    Terry Mulryan Toomey, Future Affairs Productions.

The ILEA Esprit Awards were created to raise industry awareness of ILEA member achievements and distinctiveness. An ILEA Esprit Award showcases a company’s hard work, creativity and quality.
