Meeting Professionals International, Minnesota Chapter, Supports Ronald McDonald House

The Minnesota Chapter of Meeting Professionals International presented a check for over $3,000.00 to the Ronald McDonald House of the Twin Cities. This donation will support the redesign and redecoration of some of the family suites in the house. The gift was part of MPI MN’s 2008-9 kickoff event, held on August 20 at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington.

The Ronald McDonald House of the Twin Cities accommodates 48 families on any given night, providing lodging and a community atmosphere of care, support and encouragement while reducing the costs of daily living. It is not uncommon for families to live at the Ronald McDonald House for as long as a year. The House provides a home-away-from-home for families facing critical pediatric illness.

The Chapter collected funds through their piggy bank drive. A generous donation of $2,000 from Steve Devries of Showcore, Inc. made this Contribution have an even larger impact.
