The Saint Paul Hotel Named Top Hotel
The Saint Paul Hotel is the top hotel in the Mpls-St. Paul area according to the 2011 U.S. News rankings of the Best Hotels, and recently received a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence Award as well. Both recognitions bring light to the hotel's commitment to provide consistent first-class customer service and impeccable accommodations.
The U.S. News ranking is awarded to the highest ranking hotels based on three identified factors that are combined to determine how each property ranks. First, we gathered the hotel's recommendations and accolades from reputable travel publications. Second, we collected the hotels' expert ratings, which are assigned by other travel media. Lastly, we pooled hotel guests' opinions from their comments in online user reviews.”

To qualify, the hotel needed to maintain an average rating of four or higher out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include volume of reviews and how recently the reviews were submitted by TripAdvisor travelers.
