Accommodating Colorado Accommodations — Full-Service, Select-Service, Limited-Service, and Boutique

When it comes to picking a hotel, it’s nice to have choices. Especially when those choices allow you to choose the hotel you want with the services and amenities you need. Whether your guests are simply stopping over for one night, or in town for the week, these Colorado hotels are more than accommodating.

Full-Service Hotels

For the ultimate in hotel stays, you can’t go wrong with a full-service hotel. You’ll find everything you need here, from laundry to shuttle services, full restaurants and bars, to spa and exercise facilities, room service, and more. Full-service hotels are a bit pricier but well worth it for the traveler who must stay for more than a few days.

Some full-service hotels we recommend:

Copper Mountain Resort. Lodging options abound in this trendy ski resort. All are just steps away from chairlifts, restaurants, shops, activities, and nightlife. Choose from the East Village with apartment style condominiums, townhomes, and upscale homes; the Center Village with accommodations for any size group; and the West Village with its family-friendly activities and atmosphere.

Beaver Creek Resort. A wide variety of lodging options are available here, from hotels, to condominiums, to vacation homes. The nearby Poste Montane Lodge offers the warmth of a traditional European Inn with deluxe rooms that feature seating areas and wood burning fireplaces. Guests enjoy the on-site hot tub, steam room and sauna.

Breckenridge Resort. Guests at this popular resort can choose from more than 70 accommodations in the area, including the Village Hotel. This upscale hotel is within walking distance of Main Street with its restaurants, activities, and events, and is situated next to the ski resort’s chairlifts. Rooms here include flat -screen TVs, WiFi, and mini refrigerators. Guests also enjoy the indoor hot tubs, sports shop with rental equipment, and the Park Avenue Pub on site.

Keystone Resort. The Keystone Lodge & Spa offers on-site spa, fitness facility, restaurant and bar and is located just minutes from the Keystone Conference Center. Both guest rooms and loft suites are available with stunning views of the mountains and the Snake River. The hotel’s Bighorn Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience, while the Lakeside Deli or Edgewater Café lets guests grab a quick bite before hitting the slopes.

Vail Resort. A signature hotel at Vail Ski Resort, The Lodge at Vail was the first hotel built in the area. Nestled at the base of the mountain, the hotel combines old-world charm with superb amenities, including spa, elegant and casual dining, pool, hot tubs, and ski and bike valet service. Luxury one, two, and three-bedroom residences welcome guests with rustic charm, wood-burning fireplaces, and private walk-out balconies.

Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center. This stunning new resort hotel is located at the edge of the Front Range, just minutes from Denver International Airport. Rustic and alpine charm combine in lavish rooms and suites with luxury bedding, WiFi, and room service available. Casual and fine dining options, relaxing spa, and indoor/outdoor water complexes make it the ideal place to stay.

Select- or Limited-Service Hotels

Select- or limited-service hotels offer the best in comfort with fewer amenities than a full-service hotel. Many may offer guests perks such as a complimentary continental breakfast, business center or fitness room, plus small meeting rooms. These hotels are easy on the budget and perfect for a quick layover or the overnight traveler.

Boutique Hotels

Independent and luxurious, boutique hotels offer upscale facilities with fewer rooms. They are often in unique locations and are typically high-class. These hotels leave important guests feeling pampered with lots of amenities, such as in-room WiFi, 24-hour desk service, mini-bar, custom toiletries, spa services, and highly-personalized service.

These Boutique hotels are worth exploring:

The Peaks Resort & Spa. An unbeatable location located just a short walk from the Telluride-Mountain Village Gondola. Stylish rooms and suites available with stunning mountain views, sitting and lounge areas, and walk-out balconies.  ALTEZZA Restaurant serves up mouthwatering cuisine created with regionally sourced ingredients. Ski valet, fitness center, indoor/outdoor pool, full-service spa and salon make this a place guests will love.
