Amana Colonies Convention, Visitors Bureau hires new director

Chelsey McDill has been named new executive director of the Amana Colonies Convention and Visitors Bureau.

McDill, previously with ImOn Communications in Cedar Rapids. She comes to the position with experience in professional and non-profit leadership, strategic planning and perfecting the customer and member experience.

McDill has been an active member in the Cedar Rapids community for many years. She has served as the senior manager of customer care for ImOn Communications, and has held a variety of leadership positions for many non-profit organizations; Junior League of Cedar Rapids, Cedar Rapids Concert Chorale, CR netWORK and the Better Business Bureau. Most recently, McDill was a recipient of the Corridor Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Award in 2013.

I have fond childhood memories from the Amana Colonies and will work to encourage others to create new memories and rediscover all the Amana Colonies has to offer a new generation.
