Meeting Professionals International – Wisconsin Chapter (MPI-WI)

GREEN BAY, WI – On October 14, 2010, members of Meeting Professionals International – Wisconsin Chapter (MPI-WI) will meet at the Hotel Sierra and KI Convention Center for an educational seminar on negotiating non-hotel contracts and best practices for other meeting contracts.

The October chapter meeting will feature speaker Barbara F. Dunn, ESQ. Barbara is an attorney and partner with Howe & Hutton, a law firm which specializes in the representation of individuals, firms and organizations in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry. Barbara will address items of a meeting contract, best practices for organizations, including risk management needs and discuss working with international vendors.

Following the educational seminar, attendees will be invited to take a tour of downtown Green Bay. Stops will be made at Titletown Brewing Company, Hinterland Brewery, Chefusion, Black & Tan Grille and Republic Chophouse.

This month’s Community Outreach program asks attendees to bring items for the Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary, a no-kill animal rescue and adoption sanctuary. Wish list items include basic cleaning supplies, blankets, dog and cat food, and much more. Visit mpiwi.org for the complete wish list.
