Minnesota MPI September Meeting Announced

Minneapolis, MN – Meeting Professionals International Minnesota Chapter (MPI MN) will host its September meeting Wednesday, September 18, 2013, 11:00am – 1:30pm at the Union Depot Saint Paul, MN.

Zombies 2030! Taming the Most Challenging Convention Imaginable!

By Shawna Suckow

Shawna will begin at 12:00pm.

PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The year is 2030, and zombies have taken over the Earth. They’ve decided to hold their first convention, and have hired your team of non-zombies to plan it. The pressure’s on! Your mission: to take the goals and objectives of this audience, understand a completely new culture, and deliver exactly the convention this demanding group desires…or else!

LEARNER OUTCOMES:
1. Understand how to implement meeting elements for a completely new culture.
2. Learn the importance of collaborating across teams, not working in silos.
3. Collaborate and create a convention from the ground up, in a way that is a level playing field for beginners as well as industry veterans, because NOBODY has previous experience with this scenario.
4. Think beyond typical constraints to find unique solutions to fit even the most challenging audience.
5. Have the confidence to take on a new client, a new job, or a new project
6. Successfully and strategically interact across varying generations and experience levels to achieve common goals.
