2 New Downtown Denver Hotels, More New and Renovated News Out West

New luxury hotel Le Méridien Denver Downtown is a design lover’s dream, boasting mid-century modern style and located only steps away from the Mile High City’s entertainment promenade and near the city’s arts and culture district. Also only one block from the Colorado Convention Center, the 20-story property features 272 guest rooms.

The interiors feature a cool color palette paired with millwork that’s reminiscent of the craftsmanship of snowboards and skis. Each guest room is designed with a cool grey color palette with accent color combinations. Artwork throughout the hotel is curated by Denver-based firm NINE dot ARTS and created by local artists. A show-stopping chandelier in the lobby is inspired by the cottonwood trees found throughout Colorado.

The hotel offers more than 12,000 square feet of state-of-the-art event space, including a 5,700-square-foot ballroom, as well as meeting rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. Le Méridien Denver Downtown also boasts the city’s highest open-air rooftop bar, 54thirty, offering unparalleled views of the city and the Rocky Mountains.

Hyatt Centric Debuts in Denver with Scenic Meeting Space

Modern lifestyle hotel brand Hyatt Centric recently debut its latest property, Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver, bringing 264 rooms, a chef-driven restaurant and a rooftop experience to the Denver Metro area. Located at 1776 Champa Street, the new Hyatt Centric is conveniently located near top destinations like the Colorado Convention Center, Denver Center for the Performing Arts and Coors Field.

In the lobby, guests are greeted by a colorful mural depicting Denver’s urban life, Red Rocks Amphitheatre’s music culture and the state’s renowned nature landscape into one vivid picture. In room, guests can expect modern urban decor, walk-in showers and dramatic views on the higher floors. 

The hotel’s spacious rooftop terrace offers cityscape views, plush seating and outdoor fireplaces. With sliding-style doors, the outdoor space flows into a prefunction area where planners can also make use of 2,530 square feet of space. The penthouse level also offers a 975-square-foot hospitality suite complete with a dedicated living area, spacious high-end dining table for eight and a private rooftop terrace with mountain and city views.

Onsite restaurant Apple Blossom comes from the owners of Denver’s Beast + Bottle and Coperta. Signature dishes at Apple Blossom include a whole-grilled rainbow trout and an apple turnover with buttermilk ice cream and local honey. The restaurant seats 68 with a 20-seat bar and lounge area and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
