Chaska Event Center begins booking receptions
The city of Chaska has booked its first wedding reception for 2016 at the future Chaska Event Center.
Courtney Soller and Dylan Ludovissie, of Chaska, will have the honors of breaking in the hall, part of the Chaska Curling Center complex.
Sign-ups began at 6:30 a.m. and as of 9 a.m. Monday, five groups have been booked for the center.
There were over 50 people on the city’s “waiting for information” list that were contacted last Friday about today’s launch, according to Chaska Parks Director Tom Redman.
The Chaska Curling Center, slated to open by late November, has already been booked for the 2016 USA Curling College Championship, March 11-13 and the Twin Cities Curling Association’s “Big Speil” in January 2016.
