Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau Announces New Staff

\The Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), the region's destination management organization, is pleased to announce two new members of our growing team. We welcome Kristin Wensing as the new Director of Partnership & Development and Constance Samuels as sales manager for the Bureau. “We are extraordinarily pleased to bring Kristin and Constance on board to augment our incredible team,” says Deb Archer, President and CEO of the GMCVB. ” Both women bring exceptional experience, a proven track record and excellent skills to our organization and market,” added Archer.

Wensing is a Wisconsin native with a bachelor’s degree in Government from Lawrence University in Appleton. Well-versed with a wide range of skills, Wensing has an impressive background in both partnership and development, holding leadership positions with Lawrence University and the Coro Fellows program for Public Affairs in St. Louis, MO. Living in Madison since 2002, Wensing most recently served as the Assistant Director of Leadership Giving at the Dane County United Way.

Samuels, a native of Virginia recently relocated to the Madison area. Her background in the hotel industry and a degree in hospitality management from Virginia State University are well suited to her new role in sales. An active and energetic person, Samuels is excited to learn all about the Greater Madison area.

The GMCVB staff and leadership extend a warm welcome to Wensing and Samuels. Their talents will help propel our organization's work in promoting the destination and fulfilling the GMCVB’s promise and purpose of Going Beyond Visit to visitors to the Madison area.
