The 371,000-square foot, 18-story building is connected to the casino at 17th and Canal streets.

It will include 364 rooms with a king or two queen beds. There will also be 16 junior suites and one presidential suite.

Recently, workers have been able to start working primarily inside. Potawatomi said the $150 million project is scheduled to be done in the fall.

"The building's been topped off. We're putting in the interior finishes. Most of the floors are framed out up into the 17th floor," said David Brien of Potawatomi Bingo Casino Hotel

"To actually have the room built out so you can see, feel touch and start looking at all the finishes go through, makes it real, makes it exciting you know, so it's a great thing to have," said Hassan Abdel-Moneim of Potawatomi Bing Casino

The project has generated more than 1,000 construction jobs.

The new hotel is expected to bring an additional $10 million a year in revenue for Milwaukee and Milwaukee County.
