The Escape Game To Open In Mall Of America This Summer

The experiential concept has proven to be a popular choice for friends, family and even as a corporate outing.

The popular escape room premise is on its way to the Mall of America.

This summer, Nashville-based The Escape Game will open on the third floor of the Mall of America near Sears.

The 3,300-square-foot space will allow up to eight-person groups to work together to solve puzzles and escape a locked room within an hour. Game themes coming to the location include Prison Break, Gold Rush, The Heist and Mission: Mars.

“I can’t think of a more appropriate setting for The Escape Game’s flagship location than Mall of America,” said Mark Flint, co-founder of The Escape Game. “This is an important step in The Escape Game’s strategy to bring our innovative experiential entertainment concept to the mainstream, and to be able to do it on one of retail’s most iconic stages is very exciting for our team.”

Aside from Nashville, the company has locations in Chicago; Orlando; Austin, Texas; and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Although this is the first trapped puzzle room to open in the Mall of America, the concept has existed within the state for a number of years. Escape MSP, Escape Frenzy, Lock and Key Escape Rooms and The Riddle Room were among the first such businesses to open.
