ASI Communications Launches Strategic Event Marketing

ASI Communications today announced the launch of a formalized Strategic Event Marketing client offering. While the integrated marketing agency has previously offered domestic and international event marketing and meeting- management services to clients such as Medtronic, Honeywell, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota, Red Bull and Digi-Key Corporation, it has now built the infrastructure to expand the offering's depth and breadth.

As part of the move, ASI has tapped Lisa Schuler to direct the practice area, supported by a new ASI addition, Ruth Wikoff-Jones. Schuler has served as a senior account manager for ASI to clients such as Aveda, Medtronic and Nicollet Island Inn. Wikoff-Jones brings 11 years of event-planning experience to the agency, having worked with Saint Thomas Academy, Allina Health System and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities.

“Event marketing is an area where clients increasingly benefit from an integrated marketing approach,” said Will Sullivan, ASI Communications president. “We are confident that Lisa and Ruth—backed by our complete creative, PR and digital communications channels—will serve clients extremely well.”

ASI is unique in its depth and flexibility related to event management, with the ability to manage events from beginning to end—or act as a strategic partner supporting existing client resources and vendors. ASI's approach to events, adds Sullivan, complements its larger strategy to act as an "agnostic" marketing partner not biased toward any one promotional discipline.
