OWATONNA, Minn. (May 31, 2013) – Cabela’s Incorporated, the World’s Foremost Outfitter® of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, recently presented its Owatonna, Minn., location with the 2012 Cabela’s Customer Service Store of The Year Award.
The award, an internal recognition, is considered among the highest honors a Cabela’s store can receive. It is presented yearly to the location that best exhibits Cabela’s legendary customer service and passion to serve those who live the outdoor lifestyle. Currently, Cabela’s operates 44 stores across the United States and Canada.

The Owatonna store opened in April of 1998 and was the first Cabela’s location outside of the company’s home state of Nebraska. The 160,000-square-foot store had an estimated 450,000 visitors last year.
