International Honor for MPI-WI Member Jill Schroeder Recognized for RISE Award

Milwaukee, WI – The Wisconsin Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI-WI) is pleased to congratulate Jill Schroeder on winning the 2012 Recognizing Industry Success and Excellence (RISE) award for Young Professional Achievement from Meeting Professionals International.  The awards presentation was held on July 29, 2012, during MPI’s World Education Congress in St. Louis, Missouri. Recipients are recognized for innovation, influence, global transferability and impact within the meetings and events industry.

Jill is Event Coordinator at Midwest Horse Fair and currently serves as Director of Monthly Programs for MPI-WI.

The RISE Award for Young Professional Achievement was presented to Jill Schroeder for her leadership and encouragement of student involvement in industry-related programs. Jill led the way in gaining student participation, helping develop the “MENTOR Me” program and creating the “Student Involvement” webpage for MPI-WI. She serves on the Madison College Alumni Advisory Board, providing input on the direction of the college, and actively speaks at her alma mater on student-life topics.
