VOLUNTEERS HONORED AT MIDWEST SOCIETY OF ASSOCIATION EVECUTIVES FALL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

Association professionals and supporters, recipients of the prestigious Midwest Society of Association Executives (MSAE) Outstanding Service Awards, were honored Sunday, October 9 – Tuesday, October 11 at the Fall Leadership Conference hosted in Fargo, ND.

The MSAE Outstanding Service Awards recognize members who exemplify the strong support and participation needed to make the Midwest Society of Association Executives thrive and succeed. Accolades were awarded in the following categories:

Association of the Year - This award recognizes an association who has displayed the highest commitment to the professional growth of MSA and their organization through best practices, projects, programs and innovations.

Best Supporting Company of the Year - This award recognizes the outstanding support an MSAE Allied member’s company provided throughout the year.  This award highlights the company’s dedicated services and time to the Midwest Society of Association Executives.

Young Professional Volunteer of the Year - This award honors a young professional member of MSAE, for their strong commitment and support of MSAE through their willingness to volunteer and participate in the organization.

Outstanding Association Volunteer of the Year - This award recognizes an association member who best demonstrates outstanding leadership and inspires others to volunteer and contribute toward the enhancement of MSAE.

Outstanding Allied Volunteer of the Year - This award recognizes an allied member who best demonstrates outstanding leadership and inspires others to volunteer and contribute toward the enhancement of MSAE.

2011 honors were awarded to the following recipients:

? Association of the Year – ACA International
? Best Supporting Company – Beganik Strategy + Design
? Young Professional of the Year – Regina Fodness, Canal Park Lodge
? Association Volunteer of the Year – Nora McLellan, Industrial Fabrics Association International
? Allied Volunteer of the Year – Devie Hagen, Elan Speakers Agency
