BLOOMINGTON DIAMOND SERVICE AWARDS RECOGNIZE HOSPITALITY'S FINEST

Bloomington, MN (April 24, 2025) – Bloomington Minnesota Travel & Tourism hosted the 27th annual Diamond Service Awards on Tuesday, April 22 at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington-Minneapolis South. The gala event honored front-line service personnel from Bloomington’s hospitality industry, including employees from hotels, restaurants, retail, and attractions.

Diamond Service Awards were given to recipients in these categories:

Best Hospitality Administration: Seth Steidl, Radisson Blu Mall of America
Best Guest Relations Personnel: Luke Davidson, Nickelodeon Universe
Best Restaurant Personnel: Felipe Secundino, Cantina Laredo
Best Banquet/Catering Personnel: Sandra Torres Guallpa, Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington-Minneapolis South
Best Hotel Guest Services (Limited Service): Sanjeev Parikh, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Bloomington Mall of America
Best Hotel Guest Services (Full Service): Melissa Pumper, Radisson Blu Mall of America
Best Housekeeping Personnel (Limited Service): Eliot King, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Bloomington Mall of America
Best Housekeeping Personnel (Full Service): Indranie Jaddunath, Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington-Minneapolis South
Best Hotel Restaurant Personnel: Adel Barbouche, Sheraton Bloomington Hotel
Best Food Production Personnel: Naino Dookhie, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Bloomington Mall of America
Best Transportation Personnel: Jose A. Santana, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Minneapolis Airport
Best Engineer/Maintenance Personnel: Pedro Garcia, Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Airport Mall of America
Best Retail Personnel: Allison Clemons, SEA LIFE at Mall of America
Best Bartender: Mary Nelson, Courtyard by Marriott Edina Bloomington 
In addition to the 14 Diamond Service Awards honorees, four individuals were inducted into the Hospitality Hall of Fame: Jodie Grannes from Cambria Hotel Bloomington Mall of America Minneapolis Airport (28 years of service), Allen Plante from Radisson Blu Mall of America (40 years of service), Wanda Novak from DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington - Minneapolis South (31 years of service), and Kim Vo from DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington - Minneapolis South (33 years of service).

The Spirit of Hospitality Award was presented to Airport Foundation MSP for its dedication to enhancing the travel experience and supporting the aviation community at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Other highlights of the evening included the Food Safety Awards, presented by Bloomington Mayor Tim Busse, and a performance by 13-year-old mariachi singer Eduardo Antonio Trevino and his accompanying five-piece band.
