Bloomington, MN (April 24, 2025) – Bloomington Minnesota Travel & Tourism hosted the 27th annual Diamond Service Awards on Tuesday, April 22 at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington-Minneapolis South. The gala event honored front-line service personnel from Bloomington’s hospitality industry, including employees from hotels, restaurants, retail, and attractions.
Diamond Service Awards were given to recipients in these categories:

Best Bartender: Mary Nelson, Courtyard by Marriott Edina Bloomington
In addition to the 14 Diamond Service Awards honorees, four individuals were inducted into the Hospitality Hall of Fame: Jodie Grannes from Cambria Hotel Bloomington Mall of America Minneapolis Airport (28 years of service), Allen Plante from Radisson Blu Mall of America (40 years of service), Wanda Novak from DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington - Minneapolis South (31 years of service), and Kim Vo from DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington - Minneapolis South (33 years of service).
The Spirit of Hospitality Award was presented to Airport Foundation MSP for its dedication to enhancing the travel experience and supporting the aviation community at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Other highlights of the evening included the Food Safety Awards, presented by Bloomington Mayor Tim Busse, and a performance by 13-year-old mariachi singer Eduardo Antonio Trevino and his accompanying five-piece band.
