Milwaukee Hotel Opens in Historic Building

MILWAUKEE, Wis. The 155-suite SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Downtown opened on July 5 at the corner of 4th and Wells streets. The property is situated in the historic Commerce Building, which was built in 1928, and located just two blocks away from the BMO Harris Bradley Center where the Milwaukee Bucks play basketball.

"This hotel provides today's most important amenities to guests, with both [complimentary] hot breakfast and Wi-Fi," said Chris Anderson, senior VP and chief revenue officer at White Lodging. "No other hotel connected to the Wisconsin Center is able to provide that to their guests."

The SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Downtown operates as a Marriott franchise, is owned by JSWD Commerce, LLC, and is managed by White Lodging Services. The hotel is minutes away from Marquette University, the Henry W. Maier Festival Park and the historic Third Ward District.

Featuring suites that are larger than typical hotel rooms, SpringHill Suites Milwaukee Downtown features separate living, working and sleeping spaces to provide guests with added flexibility.

The hotel offers over 1,900 square feet of meeting space for groups of up to 100. It also offers easy access to the downtown Milwaukee Skywalk for travel to the Wisconsin Center convention facility.

In addition to SpringHill Suites, White Lodging also manages the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown, and the upcoming The Westin Milwaukee Downtown, both owned by Jackson Street Holdings, LLC.
