Yum! — Trending Holiday Party Meals

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, especially when it comes to food! What you serve at your company’s holiday party should have guests talking (not with their mouths full, of course) and raving about the party’s success. This year, why not try some of our new favorites:

Appetizers

Whether you want to pass hot apps or offer cold app stations where guest can load up their plates, consider serving any of these to entice the revelers for what’s to come.

•    Cranberry Crostini. This delightful snack combines the season’s number one fruit, tart cranberries, with whipped ricotta spread smeared across the tops of lightly toasted baguette slices.

•    Pigs in a Blanket with dipping sauce. A party classic, delicate layers of biscuit dough encase seasoned sausage for savory bite-sized goodness. Offer a variety of dipping sauces for guests to try such as honey mustard or BBQ sauce.

•    Goat Cheese and Apricot Truffles. Coat sweet dried apricots with flavorful goat cheese, then roll balls in finally chopped pistachios and fresh herbs.

Main Course

A plated meal, buffet, or food stations featuring these trending foods will be greeted with glee.

•    Holiday Ham with Mustard. Ham just never goes out of style. Naturally sweet and flavorful, serve with a mustard sauce and pair it with Mini, Herbed Pommes Anna and an abundance of both cooked and raw vegetables.

•    Vegetarian Potpies with Sweet Potato Biscuits. Cater to the tastes of those craving a meat alternative with individual pies. Filled with a sage-infused cream sauce and a mix of sweet celery root, Brussel sprouts, and parsnips, these pies are topped with roasted sweet potato biscuits.

•    Braised Turkey Thighs. Braising in hard cider ensures that the turkey is moist and flavorful. Serve with pan-fried SMASHED potatoes that are crispy, golden brown, and a new twist on an old favorite.

Cocktails and Mocktails

Pre-mixing big batches of these cocktails and mocktails saves time and ensures that they’re flavored-filled goodness will be appreciated by all.

•    Sparkling Pomegranate Sangria Mocktail. This refreshing non-alcoholic beverage is the perfect blend of tart and sweet, just right for everyone. Clementines, apples, pears, starfruit, and grapes swim in a delicious blend of ginger ale and blueberry-pomegranate juice.

•    Eggnog Martini. The most sophisticated way to serve a holiday classic. Combine egg nog with rum in a shaker with ice. Serve in a martini glass with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.

•    Cham Cham Champagne. A bit of the bubbly is always good this season. Dress it up with a tablespoon of Chambord, a black raspberry liqueur, and topped with fresh raspberries.
