Colorado Hot Spots — Cool Places

Ready to plan your next Colorado event, but tired of the same old location options? NYC is expensive, Chicago is been-there-done-that, and LA is just too over-the-top. Wouldn’t it be nice to find a town with all the amenities you need, and none of the headaches of those other “trendy” locales?

You’re in luck! Take a little road trip with us. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you arrive at these hidden Colorado gems, hot spots, and cool places!

Up North

Vibrant and bustling, the “Mile High City” and the Visit Denver CVB welcome you. When you experience 300 days of sunshine, natural beauty, and breathtaking rocky mountain views, you’ll know you’ve arrived at the perfect place. Add in historic and contemporary hotels, a foodie destination with pubs, fining dining, wineries and the famous Denver Beer Trail, gorgeous parks, trails, galleries, theaters — you name it, it’s here.

Out West

The west is considerably less wild, and much more inviting when you meet the good folks of Breckenridge and GoBreck.com. Rich with history and natural wonders, this former gold rush town now boasts an abundance of white gold each year — more than 300 inches of pure Colorado powder snow.  From downhill to cross country skiing, snowboarding to snowshoeing, this mountain paradise has it all. Between the comfortable lodging, arts and culture, spas and dazzling nightlife, your guests may find it hard to leave.

Hit the road again and this time journey to a place where two lovely communities – Vail and Beaver Creek – converge to become the Vail Valley Partnership. The adventurers among your guests will thrill to the skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing, dog sledding, and even ice climbing that awaits. After a day outdoors, they’ll relax with gourmet food, cozy accommodations, and some of the most breathtaking scenery this side of the Rockies.

Back in the driver’s seat, and in a little under an hour you’ve arrived in Glenwood Springs where the famed hot springs await to soak away aches and pains, chase away stress, and soothe your soul. Glenwood Springs CVB will introduce your guests to a mountain resort experience that includes all they’d ever want or expect — skiing, hiking, and horseback riding, plus skydiving and even zip lining. Comfortable lodging and fantastic food awaits your guests each and every day.

Down South

Let’s turn left and head south, arriving at one of Colorado’s most famed cities and a world class destination in itself – Aspen. Overflowing with charm, history, luxury accommodations, recreational activities, shopping, galleries, spas, and of course, outdoor recreation, Aspen defies ordinary. The pros at Aspen Chamber Resort Association look forward to making sure your guests feel both pampered and right at home.

Continue traveling toward the setting sun until you arrive to Visit Durango where history, scenic surroundings, exciting activities, cozy accommodations, and arts and culture combine. Whether winter or summer, this gem of a town invites you to take a historic train ride through the breathtaking canyons of the San Juan National Forest, explore the Mesa Verde National Park, discover historic downtown, enjoy the thrills of “Old West” entertainment, and meet a friendly population that will welcome you back again and again.
